9 Awful Things About Being An FSU Student As Told By 'Parks and Rec' GIFs
Having to choose where to attend college can be a hardship for any high school senior. For those of us who decided to chase our dreams at FSU, life can be pretty darn awesome. We get an amazing education with amazing people on an amazing campus. However, there are numerous drawbacks to being a Seminole that everyone needs to address:
1. Winning all the time and blowing teams out (hey, Gators, how does 27-2 taste?) gives students an unrealistic and skewed perspective of privilege.
2. Living in Florida means that it’s always warm, forcing Tallahassee residents to spend their time lounging around at pools in January.
3. Those days at the pool can leave a glowing tan, which makes FSU students at risk of being an object of fairer-skinned envy.
4. Overzealous fans at football games can often lead to incredibly long bouts of screaming the Warchant, leaving students without a voice for days.
5. Those really, really long Warchants come with equally long Tomahawk chops, which means sore arms through Sunday.
6. Being just a day-trip away from vacation hot-spots like Atlanta, Miami, and New Orleans tempts students to empty their financial aid-filled pockets.
7. Hundreds of FSU student groups and organization can become a headache for those trying to decide how to get involved on campus.
8. Having an on-campus health and wellness clinic that almost always costs nothing to visit tempts students to drop in and grab a doctor’s note so they can postpone that early morning oral exam in Spanish.
9. Parking is actually the worst thing ever. Seriously, this one is for real. The worst.
At least we don’t have to wear orange and blue. Go ‘Noles!
